Practical Exercises (4 Hours):
(Time may vary according to number of students)
- Fire Evolutions
- Pan/spill fire - extinguish with portable fire extinguisher
- Engine fire - 2 person team extinguishes with portable fire extinguishers
- Flange Fire (Propane/Liquid fuel) - extinguish with portable fire extinguisher, simulate valve closure
- Hose handling procedures, nozzle operation
- Wellhead fire - use of hoseline(s) to protect exposures
- Emergency Refilling fire extinguishers in the field
- Use of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
- Smoke maze and/or compartment search
Scheduled Dates: Held on demand. There must be a 10-person minimum to hold course
