Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
 
This 4-hour course is designed to teach personnel the proper actions to take while executing their shipboard duties to ensure their own personal safety, the safety of fellow crew members and to protect the marine environment.

Successful completion of this course will satisfy the training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(I)(4) and Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code.

Course Outline:

  • Complying with emergency procedures
  • Safe work practices
  • Understanding order – communication
  • Human relations and social responsibilities

Note: There is an 10-person minimum to hold this class. Additional course dates can be scheduled based on an 10-person minimum.

Tuition: $100               0.4 CEUs
